What is in This Collection?

This collection contains a ledger of residents at the Pioneers' Home in Prescott, Arizona for the years 1911-2000. The Pioneers' Home was established in 1909 following the efforts of citizens to create a facility to provide care to pioneers who helped build the state. In 1916 a women's wing was added, and in 1929 it was expanded to include the Hospital for Disabled Miners. The home also manages and maintains the Pioneers' Home Cemetery.
