The card index includes handwritten lead for an index of patients admitted to the settlement, handwritten lead for a census of individuals with Hansen's Disease, census of names, index of parents of non-leprous children, index of persons examined a Kakaako Hospital in Honolulu, and an index of persons apprehended and examined for leprosy.
