What is in This Collection?

This collection includes an index & images of the 1921 municipal census for the city of Aker, which consisted at that time of Nordstrand, Ullern, Vestre Aker, and Østre Aker. On 1 January, 1948 Aker was incorporated into the city of Oslo from Akershus County.

The census consists of the following parts: Skema 1, Husliste, with information about each residence, including statistical data (Beboelsesstatistik); Skema 2, Personliste containing details on each individual. The census is arranged alphabetically by street name, then by house number.

• Garden area: size of vegetable plot, fruit trees and berries; number of fruit trees, number of berry plants, square meters of strawberries and raspberries
