Compiled records of the Salish, Kootenai, and Pend d’Oreille Tribes of the Flathead Reservation in Montana. Eugene Mark Felsman gathered genealogical information to compile the family records from the following sources: Roll #107-116 of the National Archives Records NA595 (Indian Census Rolls, Office of Indian Affairs, Flathead Agency, 1886-1940), Tribal enrollment records up to the year 1961, “Selected Records of the BIA relating to the Enrollment of Indians on the Flathead Reservation, 1903-1908, NA1350, Roll 1-3,” and some 6000 obituaries of Tribal members from 1870 to 1995, gathered by himself.

This collection consists of Family Group Records of the Salish, Kootenai, and Pend d’Oreille Tribes of the Flathead Reservation in Montana. Eugene Mark Felsman gathered genealogical information to compile the family records from the following sources: NARA M595, rolls 107-116 Indian Census Rolls, Office of Indian Affairs, Flathead Agency, 1886-1940. Tribal enrollment records up to the year 1961, “Selected Records of the BIA relating to the Enrollment of Indians on the Flathead Reservation, 1903-1908, NARA M1350, Roll 1-3,” and some 6000 obituaries of Tribal members from 1870 to 1995, gathered by himself.
