The Boerne Family History Center is unique. It has joined with the Genealogical Society of Kendall County and is now open 35 hours per week.  Come visit us.

Collections

  • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.
  • The GSKC Library has approximately 2,289 book, 63 Journal titles, manuscripts maps, along with some records salvaged from the Kendall County Courthouse weeding process
  • The "First Families Collection" of Kendall County is a unique collection of the books compiled by family membersw when they apply for certification to FIRST FAMILES. These books include documents, biographies, photos and stories of the family.

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
