BRIGHAM (St. Bridget), a parish, comprising the borough and market-town of Cockermouth, in the union of Cockermouth, Allerdale ward above Derwent, W. division of Cumberland, 2 miles (W.) from Cockermouth. There are places of worship for dissenters.
