  • Discuss current issues, community matters, and strategies.
  • Move issues to decision.

Updates and follow up

  • Needed training:  Namespaces, input about what training is wanted

Wanted categories - down by 100. Unused categories - gone up by 100 in one week.

Login in issues going on this week. 

SaleForce - new tool.  More user friendly.  We will not need Java for SalesForce. They have tried to use the same verbage in categories for SalesForce.  Some sites require Java, but keep it updated. 

Patrolling and Amdocs Review

  • Did you see anything while patrolling this past week that would be interesting to discuss with the team?
  • Pages are being blanked.  A message was put on the person's talk page.  If you see these happening, let's contact them and find out if it is a group being instructed wrong.  
  • People are adding coding that is destroying pages.  Please ask people having these difficulties to please preview pages and not save and keep going. 
  • Images are disappearing that were added in 2008-2009 and some recent. File is still there but file has been corrupted.  Lee has been trying to find out what has been going on.  Hoping that if it is the FCK editor it can be changed.  If you see an image missing, please let Lee know.  See example: France (Photo history is there but no photo)

  1. Follow To do as scheduled.
  2. Be sure to cover your shifts and the assignments associated with your shift
  3. Patrolling recent changes: Short pages under priortized categories (check the ones with zero bytes up to 30-40 bytes ).
  • Check for duplicates
  • Check for redirects
  • Check for misspells
  • Do not patrol indexing articles
  • Notify people that are blanking pages on best practices.

  • Mark as patrolled
  • Use back button to go back to recent changes
7. Cleaning up &amp and &nbsp (non break space)
