Parish History

Denaby Main All Saints was formed as an Ecclesiastical Parish after a mission church had been established within the Conisbrough, Yorkshire parish with the development of Denaby Main colliery and establishment of the mining community around it. Denaby is a village and civil parish in the Metropolitan Borough of Doncaster Denaby Wikipedia The village is referred to as Old Denaby to distinguish from the later colliery development.
