We serve Durham, Orange, Caswell, Person, Alamance and northern Chatham counties.

  • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.  Including Ancestry and Fold3.

Hardware and Equipment

  • 8 patron computers
  • 5 microfilm readers
  • 2 microfiche readers
  • 1 microform printer
  • 2 flatbed scanners
  • 1 black and white photocopier
  • 2 black and white laser printers
