Add step re. linking adoption sign to userpage?

Janell, I'd like to add to this process a step whereby a link to the adopter's user page is added to the adoption sign when the sign is added to the adopted page. In other words, no adoption sign should be on a page without the adoption sign identifying (linking to) the username of the adopter. That means the addition of another step: The adopter must register and inform us of their username before we put up their adoption sign.

Just FYI for others who read this, these proposed steps are supported by a discussion here and here and a vote taken here.

I don't want to mess up the article here by adding this myself, and don't want to add it here exclusively if something about it also needs to be added to the messages that go to adopters (messages linked from the article page). So I thought I better ask if you would add it. Sound okay? RitcheyMT 13:30, 20 February 2011 (UTC)

I started making some changes on this last week and then realized that the items were under more discussion. Could you let me know when this has come to final resolution? --janellv 15:51, 2 March 2011 (UTC)
