Gosberton is an extensive fenland parish in the Diocese of Lincoln. The Ancient Parish church of St Peter and St Paul included Benlie, Cheal, Clough, Gosberton Cheal, Westhorpe, Righbolt, Rightbolt, Risegate, and Rigbolt. The church dates from the 12th century with subequent additions and restoration and has been designated as a grade I listed building by English Heritage listed building
