Parish History

Great Canfield or Canfield (Great), is a parish in Dunmow district Essex; on the river Roding, it is 2 miles S of the Bishop Stortford, Dunmow, and Braintree railway, and it is 3 1/2 miles SW of Dunmow.[1]
