Parish History

HAMPSTEAD-NORRIS (St. Mary), a parish, in the union of Wantage, hundred of Faircross, county of Berks, 7 miles (N. E.) from Newbury. The Independents and Wesleyans have places of worship. [1]


Hampstead Norreys, also known as Hampstead Norris, is an Ancient Parish in the county of Berkshire. Other places in the parish include: Bucklebury Alley, Wellhouse, and Little Hungerford.
