Newcastle Emlyn (Welsh: Castellnewydd Emlyn) is a small town and community in Carmarthenshire, Wales. It is in the ecclesiastical parish in Cenarth

Before 1974 the village was in the historic county of Carmarthenshire and, between 1974 and 1996 in the County of Dyfed. In 1996 it became part of the modern county of Carmarthenshire.

The Afon Teifi passes through the town and forms the boundary between Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion, with the suburb of Adpar on the Ceredigion side of the river.

The town takes its name from the cantref of Emlyn which was an administrative district in Medieval Dyfed.
