Parish History

PUNCKNOWLE (St. Mary), a village and a parish in Bridport district, Dorset. The village stands 1½ mile from the coast, 5 S of Powerstock railway station, and 5½ S E by E of Bridport. There is a Wesleyan chapel.[1]
