  • The entrance to the Family History Center is clearly marked on the northwest side of the building facing Crestway.
  • There is plenty of parking available.
  • Door is kept locked during the day.
  • Patrons should use the door buzzer clearly marked to the left of the door as you are facing it.

  • Monday: Closed
  • Tuesday: 6:30pm - 8pm
  • Wednesday: 6:30pm - 8pm
  • Thursday: 12:00pm-3:00pm
  • Friday: 12:00pm-3:00pm
  • Saturday: 11:00am - 2pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Center Resources


  • FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.  Films are now ordered online via internet from your home.  If you do not have internet at home or need assistance, the staff at our Center will be glad to assist. When searching the catalog for a place, search from the biggest to the smallest entity. Example: Texas, Bexar, San Antonio.

Permanent Film Collection:  We have over a thousand films in-house on permanent loan. When ordering, if you are informed from the Catalog that our Center has a specific film, please call ahead to confirm.

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. 

Hardware and Equipment

  • Our Center has 6 computers, 8 microfilm readers, 2 microfiche readers, and 2 new printers that serves the 6 computers.
