Talk:American Genealogical Biographical Index

Why is this page blank and also a duplicate of another page by the same title? Second question, why is the
sort key added to the United States category? I'm just trying to understand the edits being made so I can keep up with everyone who is so proficient in the wiki community. Thanks in advance for your help in understanding. -Fran 04:53, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

The page needs to be deleted.  I ended up doing a two-step name change (decided that the abbreviation was so commonly recognized that it needed to be part of the title).  I moved everything to American Genealogical Biographical Index (AGBI). The original was a press release that didn't make sense as an article by itself - American Genealogical Biographical Index Slated for Free Access at Family History Centers.  That one needs to be deleted, as well. As for proficiency - well, that's part of the problem!  I know just enough to be dangerous!  (I have no idea about the United States category.) Lembley 11:41, 30 December 2009 (UTC)
