Talk:China Burial Traditions

From FamilySearch Wiki
Jump to: navigation, search

The final three paragraphs come from a University of Idaho publication authored by Terry Abraham, found at: http://www.uiweb.uidaho.edu/special-collections/papers/burners.htm

The question is do we include the content and mention the source in a citation, or should we delete the content and send people to the source to read the information.  My thought is that we should leave the content, since it is so short, and cite it in a foot note.  Thoughts?

Went ahead and made the change based on my preference, let's see if anyone objects.

I think it's okay to leave the text with the citation. But  I think more should be added to the existing article that encourages readers to go to the source for the whole story. The rest of the article on the University of Idaho web site is very interesting. I like the pictures showing examples of the burners. Franjensen 13:35, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
