Maiden Names

You should better emphasize the following basic indexing guideline:

Do not assume maiden name is same as father's surname. If maiden name is not recorded on the image, do not index.

The example given under Maiden Names in the additional helps tab should include an example where the father's surname is not

North Corolina Marriages

TRhe latest newsletter said that this was a new project.  Why Can't I find any batches to index>

Examples should match project

It would be much easier to index and arbitrate all records if the example matched the documents we are working on. Most of the examples aren't even close to what we are being ask to check or index. To give an unrelated example of what is required is like giving an example of death certificate to index or arbitrate a birth certificate. Your help peole would get a less phone calls if you'd just change this one simple thing. Then everyone would be working off the same example.
