You're trying to keep a town/city that does NOT exist at all, not only at Wikipedia but even Google. Links in Google lead to Imo State, Nigeria - not the non-existent town or city.
http://www.imostate.gov.ng/info/LGA - it does show such ghost town.
At least I do a through search for such places to be sure to keep or to send to delete list. This is one of them that does not exist.
Good luck trying to prove the existence of the town or village or even city of Imo. dsammy 18:53, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
Discussion with community is needed
I'm not trying to prove anything. I'm trying to follow the established procedures for making changes to the guidelines. Before major changes are made to the guidelines, the proposals need to be presented to the community for discussion. Changing the way state pages are named for Nigeria or any other country should be discussed and documented in the Guidelines before the changes are made to the pages in the Wiki. Please add the proposal to FamilySearch Wiki talk:Manual of Style. When the community has had a chance to weigh in on the proposal, the final decision can be made. Until then, the changes to the state pages should be postponed. --Fran 19:03, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
