I had edited this page with information about issues with a Velardena, Durango, Mexico file.  The information was changed and appears to be no longer accessible? Here is the edit that changed my update:
https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/index.php?title=Mexico,_Durango,_Civil_Registration_%28FamilySearch_Historical_Records%29/Known_Issues&diff=0&oldid=1531313
And here is the information:

VELARDENA You can find images on births and marriages -- potentially deaths as well, though not confirmed -- for Velardena dates 1898-1900 (not 1950 as the label suggests) here: Mexico, Durango, Civil Registration, 1861-1995 > Cuencamé > Nacimientos, matrimonios, defunciones 1898-1950

RESPONSE: Velardeña, along with Ocuila, Pasaje, Cerro Gordo, and Pedriceña are towns or villages and are combined with the City or Municipality browse path of Cuencamé. There is no further subdivision past City or Municipality.

CUENCAME Civil births for 1928 are incomplete. They only go through June 30, 1928, with it only partially being in chronological order. And both the beginning and later part of this 1928 record contains March 1928. And throughout 1928, there is a random list of entries of people whose birth is much earlier, like 1913 or 1915, but are just now being registered (not uncommon in civil records). The path is: Mexico, Durango, Civil Registration, 1861-1995 > Cuencamé > Nacimientos 1912-1930 > image 468 to 591

RESPONSE: Although the browse point is named Cuencamé > Nacimientos 1912-1930, the NOTE referencing Article 56000 will demonstrate that the Catalog entry best describes the content as Film 1996063 Items 1-21 Nacimientos 1912, 1918-1919, 1923-1930. The mere fact that the browse point contains any 1928 records satisfies the current title.

PEDRICENA Civil birth (nacimiento) records for Pedricena 1900-1929 (with the exceptions below): Mexico, Durango, Civil Registration, 1861-1995 > Cuencamé > Nacimientos, matrimonios 1900-1930 > images 6 to 1529
To find the civil birth (nacimiento) records for Pedricena for 1930, go to this path (there is one record for 1927 at the beginning and a few scattered 1929 records in the beginning too, also there is an index at the beginning and end but I don't know how reliable it is): Mexico, Durango, Civil Registration, 1861-1995 > Cuencamé > Nacimientos, matrimonios 1900-1930 > images 1530 to 1575
To find the civil marriage (casamiento, matrimonial) records for Pedricena for 1916-1924 (the marriages end at 1924 for this record): Mexico, Durango, Civil Registration, 1861-1995 > Cuencamé > Nacimientos, matrimonios 1900-1930 > images 1580 to 2657
The 1928 civil birth records for Cuencame, Durango, Mexico are incomplete.  July 1 - December 31, 1928 is missing.
RESPONSE: Pedriceña, along with Ocuila, Pasaje, Cerro Gordo, and Velardeña are towns or villages and are combined with the City or Municipality browse path of Cuencamé. There is no further subdivision past City or Municipality.

Note for census record: This a census record from Mexico that is courtesy of Ancestry.com -- https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-267-11821-149214-71?cc=1307314&wc=9434958 -- and the location of the census record on the film says "El Tanque Rancho."  However, I have worked on Catholic christening and marriage records of some of the same people in this census and the Catholic parish said the location (in every instance) was El Estanque.  The conclusion is that due to having the same people in the census and the Catholic records, both El Tanque and El Estanque are the same place.

RESPONSE: This concerns another collection and is an Ancestry issue that is not insurmountable
