Talk:Navajo Indians

There is a section specifically for Navajo census records and there is already a disclaimer to search surrounding Native American tribal census records, which include information to search pueblo census records.  Despite this,HealeyJE has placed the Northern Pueblo census among the Navajo census records on multiple occassions, i was just wondering why?  in taking a quick look at the Northern Pueblo census, there was nothing really there to tie it to the Navajos.  Csmallcanyon   15:40, 22 May 2014

In my experience it is a good idea to check surrounding areas for individuals working off of the Reservation. Maybe this is the reason. There should probably be a general statement also to that effect. James L. Tanner 11:44, 22 May 2014 (UTC)

I was wondering why HealeyJE, on multiple instances has placed links to the Northern Pueblo census records to the section that deals specifically with Navajo census records?  The particular Northern Pueblo census focuses mainly on the Taos and other pueblo indians, which is not directly related to the Navajo Indians.  Csmallcanyon 20 may 2014

I have been consolidating the duplicate information onto the Navajo Nation, Arizona (Tribe) page. Please add any general information about the Navajos to this page, but check the other pages so as not to add duplicate information. James L. Tanner 16:12, 22 May 2011 (UTC)
