Restored previously deleted page, as this is the page that is link to from the FamilySearch Wiki footer. This page can be deleted again if the footer link is changed to Policy:Privacy Policy --Steve 11:56, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Double Re-direct

The Privacy Policy footer link ends up on a double re-direct and the user never sees the Policy page that now exists in the FamilySearch Wiki namespace.

The Privacy Policy page was deleted as requested. Why is the Talk page still present? I assume that when pages have talk pages with content on them, they also need to have the request for deletion? Is that a case where the article page is deleted and the talk page is not? -Fran 06:19, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
I don't have ability to delete pages, but if it is anything like moving pages then maybe there is a checkbox under the Reason box which allows for the option of deleting the associated subpages. I assume if this box is not selected that the main article can be deleted and the talk page remain unaffected. Just my guess. --Steve 17:55, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
We will have to check into this because the Talk page is still classified as "unresolved" even though the issue was resolved and the page requested for deletion has been deleted. -Fran 05:45, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
