Please add suggestions for the agenda here. We welcome your contributions! Please remember to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your entry to "sign" it with your name. That'll help us contact you if we need clarification on the item you'd like to address in the meeting. Ritcheymt 09:38, 7 February 2008 (MST)

I like the new Main Page! Under "Topics" and "more" can we add a "Browse by subject," to include "Indians of North America," "Mormon Immigration," and other such topics?Jbparker 08:41, 12 February 2008 (MST)

Can we build an internal table to let the program do some of the thinking for the Wiki users? For example, if someone searched for "American Indian" or "American Indians" under the current search, they would get different hit lists. If we could have the program take something that was entered and standardize the search -- American Indian, American Indians, Native Americans, etc. to "Indians of North America," for example -- then  the results lists could be better focused. Can this be done by using redirects?Jbparker 08:41, 12 February 2008 (MST)

If someone entered a general term for which there may be many levels of results, such as "Washington,"  in the search box, can the program be built to ask the user to focus their request by asking them such things as "Were you searching for Washington State?"  If the answer is no, then ask them if they were searching for a county named Washington. If the answer is yes, ask them which state. Etc., etc.Jbparker 08:41, 12 February 2008 (MST)

Do we have a projected time frame for when portal pages can be created by a moderately savvy and easily intimidated author? Also, what is the projected time frame for the ability to add sub-categories, such as county pages to the state pages? For those counties where I have done rather extensive research, it would be nice to be able to add what I have learned about the records in those counties. Some of those records are available through the Family History Library and some are available only at the courthouses or other records depositories.Jbparker 11:08, 12 February 2008 (MST)

Is the general public allowed to view the current iteration of Wiki? The link from the "labs" web site goes to the Beta 1 version.Jbparker 11:26, 12 February 2008 (MST)

One user suggested we demo the process of uploading images (maps, pictures, etc. Ritcheymt 07:21, 13 February 2008 (MST)
