Would this work?

We're trying to avoid including URLs in the text of wiki articles. Would the following changes to the blurbs work? I also added to the funeral home blurb the types of information I found in the index listings.

Federal 1850 United States Census–A free Internet index and images to the 1850 United States Census can be viewed on the FamilySearch Record Search – Pilot Site. This index includes every name listed on the census and is linked to an image including information about each person’s residence and age in 1850, birthplace, occupation, other family members, and neighbors.

State 1855 Massachusetts State Census—A free Internet index and images to the 1855 Massachusetts State Census can be viewed on the FamilySearch Record Search – Pilot Site. This index includes every name listed on the census and is linked to an image including information about each person’s residence and age in 1850, birthplace, occupation, other family members, and neighbors.

San Francisco Area, California Funeral Home Records 1835-1931—A free Internet index and images of funeral home records taken from selected mortuaries in San Francisco, Sacramento, Stockton, and Burlingame can be viewed on the FamilySearch Record Search – Pilot Site. The index lists the decedent's name, death date, age at death, birth date and place, parents' names, marital status, location of funeral home, and whether an obituary was posted. It sometimes lists the name of relatives paying for the funeral.

Names used

From a cursory review, I think I would suggest not using Elder & Sister titles, but rather the names. I believe it has been decided to not make any article really LDS specific. Exceptions may exist and I may change my mind once I take a deeper look at the article. Thomas Lerman 21:04, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Is this page still needed?

If this page is still needed, please move to the FamilySearch Wiki namespace. Otherwise we can delete it since the RS pilot is no longer active and HR has their own processes. -- janellv (talk| contribs) 15:52, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
