VELINDRE (TRÊF-Y-FELIN), with Trêgoed, a township, in the union of Hay, in that part of the parish of Glàsbury which is in the hundred of Tàlgarth, county of Brecknock, in South Wales, 4 miles (S. W.) from Hay. It is situated at the north-western extremity of the Black Mountains of Tàlgarth. At Velindre was situated a chapel of ease. There are places of worship for Baptists and Independents.[1]
