Christopher C. Jones is a historian of early America and the Atlantic world whose research focuses on religion and culture in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. My dissertation examines the emergence and development of Methodism in North America and the Caribbean from 1760 through 1815 and takes shape around the themes of religion, race, and migration.
