My name is Janice White. I am a full time missionary in the Family and Church History HeadquartersMission in Salt Lake City. I have been assigned to work full time in the Family History Library in the US/Canada zone. After several months of training, I love being able to help patrons with their family history work.
I was educated in California and graduated from high school there. I have a bachelors degree in French from Brigham Young University.
I was born and raised in southern California. After graduating from Brigham Young University in Utah, my husband and I moved to Maryland where he worked for the federal government and I was a stay at home mom.
I came from a family of three children. My husband and I have six children, all married. Currently there are 24 grandchildren. Our family is spread out all over the country so we do a lot of traveling.
My ancestors on both sides of my family come from England. Also, on both sides they joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints early and moved from England to the United States and then traveled across the plains with the Mormon pioneers. Both sides of my family settled in Utah so most of my relatives are from that area.
