Church of England

Parish Register records began in 1568 and Bishop's Transcripts in 1575.  A microfilm copy of the original Stowe parish Bishop's Transcripts is kept at the Buckinghamshire Record Office in Aylesbury, England. The Buckinghamshire Record Office Call No. is D/A/T/167, 222/5.  The Bishop's Transcripts for Stowe from 1575 to 1834 are on microfilm at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City.
