Randy Seaver is a native San Diegan, a graduate of San Diego State University, a retired aerospace engineer, a genealogist and a family guy. He and his wife (Angel Linda) have two lovely daughters and five darling grandchildren.
Angel Linda and Randy love to travel to visit friends and relatives, to sightsee, to cruise or to do genealogy. Their travels have taken them all over the USA, to England, Down Under and Scandinavia. They have taken four genealogy cruises to date, combining their love of going places with genealogy education.
Randy has pursued his ancestry and family history since 1988. He is blessed with a fine New England and Atlantic States ancestry (mainly English, German and a little bit of French and Dutch heritage). Linda has one colonial Maryland line, and Norwegian, German and Irish ancestry.
He writes several blogs, including Genea-Musings (commentary, his own family history, San Diego area genealogy news), The Geneaholic (a daily genealogy journal), and the Chula Vista Genealogy Cafe (for the Chula Vista Genealogical Society).
Randy teaches adult education classes on "Beginning Computer Genealogy" in San Diego, and he speaks on genealogy topics to genealogical societies and community groups in Southern California.
Randy is a member of the National Genealogical Society, the New England Historic Genealogical Society, the San Diego Genealogical Society, the Computer Genealogy Society of San Diego, and the Chula Vista Genealogical Society.
