Hello Jdd915, Thank youu for creating a page on the Wiki however the page: https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Endowment_house_records must be moved to another Wiki or deleted. FamilySearch Wiki is not a place to post religious doctrine or advocate or criticize religious practices. You may post a link in an article relating to church genealogies but not practices. Thank your for your efforts to improve the Wiki. It may be helpful to read https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Help:Guiding_principles_and_policies for future reference. Thank you Sjkennedy 12:26, 29 April 2015 (UTC)
Hello Jack Duffy,
I am sorry that I did not give you a warning that I had to delete your page. It was an interesting page for LDS readers however it was inappropriate for the public because we attempt to keep the pages "neutral". The public doesn't understand LDS ordinances and we do not publish information about them. If you would like to edit the page to include only the historical background but not the purpose of the Endowment House that may be acceptable. Please consider these guidelines for the new page: https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/FamilySearch_Wiki:Purpose_and_Appropriate_Topics. If I may be of further assistance please notify me. Don't be discouraged, we all have to learn the policies (or rules) as we explore new territories. Possibly your article and research would be of use and interest to LDS.org. Thank you again for your consideration. Sjkennedy 01:53, 7 May 2015 (UTC)
