Parish History

WALTON (St. Peter), a parish, in the Ainsty wapentake, W. riding of York, 2½ miles (E. by S.) from Wetherby. [1] ALSO WALTON, a township, in the parish of Great Sandall, union of Wakefield, Lower division of the wapentake of Agbrigg, W. riding of York, 3 miles (S. E. by S.) from Wakefield.[2]
