History of the parish

In 1864 a priest was assigned to Kristiania (Oslo) city workhouse, hospital and poorhouse. The was discontinued in 1930. At that time a priest was assigned at Krohgstøtten hospital. He was to also serve Prince Christian Augusts minne, Lille Tøyen foster home, Adamstuen foster home, Peder Michelsen widow's home and Sagbanken's home.
