Parish History

Ancoats St Andrew is a chapelry or chapel of ease built in 1831 and lay within the boundary of Manchester [Our Lady, St George and St Denys] Ancient Parish.
The church in Travis Street Ancoats was founded in 1822 and closed in 1958.
