Church Records

Biri Clerical District contains parish registers for the parishes Biri and Snertingdal with Segård and Nykirke chapels. Church records for the years 1789-1814 and 1854-1877 were destroyed in a fire on 12 Sept 1890. There is an extraction of the christenings, marriages, and deaths from the Biri church books for the years 1730 to 1879. Also includes a list of the names of the priests.
