Bloomfield is an extinct town, now part of Skowhegan in Somerset County, Maine. Bloomfield was organized from a portion of Canaan in 1814. Bloomfield annexed land from Fairfield in 1858. Bloomfield was annexed to Skowhegan in 1861.[1] [2]

Related names. Also known as French Settlement, Malbons Mills, Milburn, and Skowhegan.[2]
