Military Artifacts

Do you have a member of your family who was in the military?

You may have been given a collection of items from that ancestor of even inherited them through another relative. Regardless of how these items came into your possession, understanding what and how valuable they are can help you locate the necessary facts to locate additional information about them in their military records.

Some of the types of artifacts are:

  • Soldier's Military Pay Book
  • Soldier's Letters with or without the envelope
  • Soldier's Journals

  • Photos of the soldier in a uniform
