FamilySearch This article describes the services and resources available at a Family History Center, a branch facility of the Family History Library.

The Carrollton Family History Center serves patrons in the Dallas area.  We are located in North Carrollton.  The center is open 20 hours a week with staff members that will assist you in searching for your ancestors.

Address: 4000 Nazarene Drive, Carrollton, TX  75010

The center in located between Hwy 121 and Hebron Parkway off Marchant.

(The church is very visible from Hyw 121.)

The entrance to the Family History Center is on the North side of the building. (There is a sign posted by the double door leading into the building. Center is in the first door to the left.)

Open Hours:

Tues. & Thurs. 9:00 am-3:00 pm, 6:30-9:00 pm

Wed. 6:30-9:00 pm

Sat. 9:00 am-1:00 pm

  • Family History Library Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog.
  • Online film ordering now available at the Carrollton Family History Center (order your film from home and have it sent to the Carrollton Family History for viewing)
  • many microfilms and microfishe (visit the center to check collection)

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal: This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
