History

Church County, North Dakota was formed 11 Mar 1887 from McHenry and Sheridan Dakota territory. Then on 02 Nov 1889 it became a county. But on 08 Nov 1892 all territory was divided up into McLean County, McHenry County, and Pierce County and Church became extinct. [1]
