Question: It’s hard to search these records because the original records are out of order and have some missing. How can I find them?
Answer: The images in this collection were filmed from cards that, in some cases, were not in alphabetical order. As a result some of the images in the collection are not arranged alphabetically. The correct image can be located by browsing through the collection. The card index is by groom's name and gives county, names of husband and wife, their ages, race, date and place of marriage, certificate number, and other information.
These records are available on films which can be viewed at your nearest FamilySearch Center (FSC). To order these film to a FSC, see Ordering Microfilm or Microfiche.
These films are the best copies available. Original cards have been destroyed.
