Dolgellau is a town, community and ecclesiastical parish in Gwynedd, Wales.

The redundant anglicised spelling of Dolgelley can be seen in some older documents.

Before 1974 the town was in the historic county of Merionethshire and was the county town. Between 1874 and 1996 in the County of Clwyd. In 1996 it became part of the modern County of Gwynedd.
