Question: I get a message “Image not Available” for San Pedro de Macorís > San Pedro de Macorís > San Pedro Apóstol > Bautismos 1926-1932, Defunciones 1921-1933, Matrimonios 1921-1925 and
Matrimonios 1925-1940. Can I view these records?
Answer: Whenever possible, FamilySearch makes images available for all users. However, ultimate rights to view images on our website are granted by the record custodians. Dominican Republic Data Privacy rules prohibit viewing all birth, death and marriage images after 1930. If any record on a digital folder contains birth records after 1930, for example, the entire digital folder is restricted. The Historical Records collections will be updated each year to show new unrestricted records. FamilySearch respects and strives to adhere to all privacy laws respective to preserving and providing access to genealogical records in its collection.

The films for these records can be ordered online to be viewed at a FamilySearch Center. For instructions on how to order films see: Ordering Microfilm or Microfiche.
