How do I cite FamilySearch Wiki?

Who wrote article X on FamilySearch Wiki?

Seldom is an article in the Wiki the product of one person. One person may have got the idea and started the article, but others joined in and made changes to what they wrote or added in their own information. To find everyone that contributed to any particular article, do the following:

  • Find the article and go to it. By that I mean, go to the page where that article is so you can see it.
  • Look at the top of the article where the title is, that is the menu bar.
  • There are several tabs on the menu bar, on the right side is the one called View History.
  • Click the View History tab and you will see a list of everyone that contributed to the article, from the most recent to the very first one.
  • The list shows the name they go by on Family Search. If you click on that name, you will be taken to their home page.
