Reference Library

The Fleurieu Peninsula Family History Group has a large collection of materials including books, audio tapes, micro-fiche and films, computer software, and a computer for use in research available in our Library.

Items that may be found in our library include Australian Vital Records Index; the 1841 Census of South Australia; the Universal British Directory of 1791; the London Church Records Compendium; the National Burials Index of England and Wales; and numerous local, state and interstate related records as well. The Snippets Directory, at right gives some samples of the types of records that can be found in our collection.

Research can be undertaken on your behalf if you cannot visit our library yourself. We have volunteer researchers who will undertake this research for you at a nominal fee. Please contact our Lyn Dillon via email with your request.
