Glastenbury  is an extinct town in Bennington County, Vermont first established in 1761. Its population declined until its incorporation ended in 1937. Today it is a ghost town.

Records.  The 1786-1912 town records are preserved at the county seat in the town of Bennington, Vermont. A microfilm copy is available from the Family History Libray on film 28284 Item 3.
