Glenwood is a Maine plantation in the forests on the south edge of the South Aroostook townships of Aroostook County. Glenwood was organized as a plantation from Township Number 2 Third Range West of the Easterly Line of the State (T2 R3 WELS) in 1863; incorporated as the Town of Glenwood in 1867, but surrendered that organization (went extinct) in 1868; reorganized as a plantation in 1877 and continues to today.[1]
