The collection consists of images of baptisms, marriages, and deaths from the Diocese of Caltagirone (Diocesi di Caltagirone), Catania, Italy. Also includes confirmations (cresime); church censuses (status animarum); orphan's records (proietti); children's deaths (defunti bambini); and marriage supplemental documents (allegati di matrimonio). Availability of records is largely dependent on time period and locality. The collection covers the years 1502 to 1942.
