The Italy, Napoli, Civil Registration (State Archive) collection is available to the Family History Library, FamilySearch Centers, and to members of the supporting organization, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The images can be viewed at a FamilySearch Center near you.
Italian Data Privacy rules prohibit viewing the following records: All birth images must be 100 years or older; all marriage images must be 70 years or older, and all death images must be 70 years or older.

This Collection will include records from 1809 to 1865.
Civil registration (stato civile) of births, marriages, and deaths within the custody of the State Archive of Napoli (Archivio di Stato di Napoli). Includes marriage banns (pubblicazioni; notificazioni); baptismal records; ecclesiastical returns of marriages; marriage memorandums (atti di memorandum); diverse records (atti diversi); marriages and deaths outside of the place of usual residence (matrimoni e morti fuori domicilio); and marriage supplemental documents (processetti). At the present time, this collection contains records for only certain sections (quartieri) of the city of Napoli. The quartieri of Napoli represented in the current collection include the following: Avvocata; Chiaia; Fuorigrotta; Miano e Marianella; Montecalvario; Posillipo; San Carlo all'Arena; San Ferdinando; San Giuseppe; Stella; Vicaria; and Vomero. Additional records for the city of Napoli and for surrounding towns (comuni) will be added as they become available.

Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
