Karmøy is an island on the southwest coast of Norway. It lies between Bergen on the north and Stavanger on the south and is just across from Haugesund. It consists of the following Clerical Districts: Avaldsnes, Kopervik (Stangeland), Skudenes, Skudeneshavn, Torvastad, and Åkra.

The internet site has only those inhabitants which have registered descendants. A more complete list is available for those who are members of Slektsforum. They also have many books and sources available for members at there office in Skudenes.

Karmøy is an island on the southwest coast of Norway. It lies between Bergen on the north and Stavanger on the south and is just across from Haugesund. It consists of the following Clerical Districts: Avaldsnes, Kopervik (Stangeland), Skudenes, Skudeneshavn, Torvastad, and Åkra.

Slektsforum Karmøy was created in November 1996 to compile and organize all information which individual members had previously obtained and make it available in one location.
