Chapelry History

LIVERPOOL (St Simon) was created a district church in 1846 from, and lying within the civil boundaries of <a _fcknotitle="true" href="Liverpool St Peter and St Nicholas, Lancashire">Liverpool St Peter and St Nicholas, Lancashire</a>. This church was later demolished in 1866 to be replaced by railway. St Simon's Parish church, Gloucester-street and Silver Street, consecrated 14 June 1872; following relocation by the London and North-western Railway Company. (Source F.
